JK Centre for Peace and Justice Foundation (JKCPJ) organizes a webinar “Student’s Connect 2022”
Continuing its efforts to work for Positive Youth Development, JK Centre for
Peace and Justice Foundation (JKCPJ) on April 23, 2022, organized a webinar
titled “Student’s Connect 2022”. The theme of the connect was “How to manage
yourself in today’s uncertain world”. The meeting was attended by therapists,
psychologists, organizations, students, and researchers. The experts shared their
ideas to understand the basics of self-care in the ever-changing volatile and
uncertain world. Renowned Psychologist, Psychotherapist, and founder of Talk
to Me NGO Dr Narendra Kinger shared expert insights to find solutions to the
trapped direction of life and issues around us. Dr Kinger highlighted that the
general state of well-being and state of mind is something that should be given
the same importance as any other health condition. Motivational speaker and
ophthalmologist Dr Shazia Shafi highlighted that control, resilience, and
activities mediate between education and mental health. Famous RJ and
influence Mr Sardar Nasir Ali Khan spoke on the challenges in the field of
broadcasting, Mental Health, and coping it during Covid-19”. Mr Aadil Fayaz,
Programme Coordinator IMHANS Kashmir added that addiction is a terrible
condition, and it holds you back from leading the life you deserve to live. Insha
Mushtaq, an example of self-confidence and determination expressed herself in
the session and said that “I’m haunted by the distant past. But I will never give
up. I’ll find my own way; I’ll keep getting up when I hit the ground”. JKCPJ
foundation received a positive response from students who joined the session
and hailed the JKCPJ foundation for conducting such a session.
