Beyond victimhood and Education: Peace-building in Jammu and Kashmir
JKCPJ is committed to make and has already made considerable difference in promoting the environment for victims to look beyond being victims. JKCPJ introduced the project “Beyond victimhood and Education: Peace-building in Jammu and Kashmir” to empower women and youth affected by the conflict in Jammu and Kashmir. JKCPJ’s commitment for educating the victims of conflict has been socially accepted and appreciated across major groups and intelligentsia. JKCPJ facilitated the rehabilitation of Ms. Insha Mushtaq (Teenager blinded by pellets) sending a positive message out to civil population and thus subsiding anger.
JKCPJ’s planned efforts are targeting in making the victims Self-reliant and self-Sustainable by imparting Skills and ensuring proper social interaction.
Mr. Farooq Ahmad Dar (Person used as human shield) suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, received consultation through JKCPJ and is looking forward for a prosperous life.
JKCPJ’s efforts of rehabilitation of victims landed a huge social appreciation and sent a message of accommodation & Love to general masses.
