Jammu & Kashmir Centre for Peace and Justice (JKCPJ) is a youth-oriented, independent and multidisciplinary research organization. The Centre came into being in 2018, against the backdrop of global challenges about the upholding of peace and social justice.

The driving concern of the Jammu and Kashmir Centre for Peace and Justice is bringing people together to accomplish things in an environment of trust to strive for sustainable peace. We work for a peaceful planet where all communities have peace, stability and effective governance based on the rule of law. The Centre holds the strong opinion that sustainable development can not be achieved without peace and special regard for human rights. JKCPJ endeavours to inform and influence the intelligentsia and promote the diversity of knowledge in the larger society. Our mission is to facilitate the coming together of individuals with diverse perspectives from various disciplines of life towards the attainment of the common good.
